BOULDER, Colo.—Renae Waters scored 15 points and Sarah Hix added 14 as the Broomfield Eagles cruised to a 59-32 victory over the Conifer Lobos Wednesday night in the girls Class 4A state semifinals.

The top-seeded Eagles trailed once, 2-0 just under 2 minutes into the game. They led 10-5 after the first quarter, 31-14 at the break and 52-21 after the third period.

Conifer (25-2), a No. 2 seed from the Jefferson County League which had won its last 10 games, shot a miserable 18 percent from the field to Broomfield’s 45 percent.
