FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Andrew Papenfus made two fourth-quarter 3-pointers and scored 13 points as Aspen remained unbeaten with a 44-35 victory over Buena Vista in the semifinals of the Colorado 3A boys state basketball tournament Friday night.

Bridger Dawson added 11 points and eight rebounds for No. 2 seed Aspen (27-0).

Nolan Baker had 15 points and 17 rebounds for Buena Vista (21-6), winners of its seven previous games. Josh Morgan scored 10 on 4-of-19 shooting.

Buena Vista trailed 31-29 early in the fourth quarter. Papenfus made two, 3-pointers to get the lead to 37-31 and Aspen held Buena Vista to four points over the final five minutes.
