LINCOLN, Neb.—Adam Bailey and Josh Scheffert had three runs apiece to lead Nebraska to Sunday’s 13-4 win and three-game sweep over Houston Baptist.

The Cornhuskers (7-7) benefited from strong hitting, getting a homer, a double and five RBIs out of Cody Asche and scoring runs off of seven batters.

Houston Baptist (4-9) was held to one run in the first eight innings before busting out three more in the ninth. Robbie Buller and Josh Gonzalez each homered for the Huskies.

Nebraska’s Tom Lemke (3-0) gave up just one run on a single hit in six complete innings. Michael Schulle (1-2) took the loss for Houston Baptist, giving up seven hits and eight runs before surrendering the mound in the fifth.

Nebraska swept Saturday’s doubleheader 10-2 and 8-0.
