Arizona swept a three-game baseball series with Northern Colorado, winning 18-4 in Tucson on Sunday. The Bears (3-8) were outscored 34-11 in the series.

Arizona (11-4) had 20 hits Sunday after UNC grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first inning on Tyler Wallace’s run-scoring single. Senior catcher Seth Budde had three of UNC’s eight hits and drove in two runs. Wallace, a freshman third baseman, had two hits.

Eagles too slick for Oilers.

Ed McGrane scored two goals Saturday night, helping the Colorado Eagles win their regular-season home finale 5-1 over Tulsa.

McGrane leads the Central Hockey League in goals.

The Eagles also defeated the Oilers on Friday, outscoring Tulsa 16-7 overall.

The Eagles end the regular season with three road games against the Arizona Sundogs.
