FRISCO, Colo.—Authorities have identified a man believed to have frozen to death five months ago.
The Summit County Coroner’s office identified the man as 47-year-old Jeffrey Dearmin. His body was discovered on a county road near Frisco Sunday. Coroner Joanne Richardson says Dearmin may have frozen to death after falling sleep in outdoors sometime in late October, at about the same time he was last seen.
Officials say they found nothing suspicious at the scene.
A man who lives near where Dearmin’s body was found told authorities he remembers seeing him before and that he had chased him off his property for squatting there.
