Frontier Airlines will discontinue its Frontier MasterCard “Frequent Spender” program today. In an e-mail to EarlyReturns members, Frontier officials said the move will affect a “small number of cardholders.”
The program granted Ascent status to members who spent $60,000 or more in a 12-month period. Ascent offers benefits such as reward miles, free seatback TV and priority check-in and boarding.
Frontier officials said Ascent status for 2010 has been granted to members who spent $60,000 or more in 2009.
