This Park Hill bakery, already popular with families, takes its sweets to the streets of Denver. Today, it’s parked outside the bakery at 2216 Kearney St., Denver. After Tuesday, keep track of its whereabouts via Facebook, Twitter and its own blog page. The truck will be loaded with cupcakes, soft drinks and Robinson’s Dairy milk.

For the first time, passengers can order bistro meals — soup, salad, burgers and drinks — while riding in the domed cars that showcase some of Colorado’s most dramatic scenery. Prices start at $7, on top of the $58 round-trip dome car fee for an adult passenger.

Next week, for one week only, Colorado native and Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar is waiving entrance fees to national parks, monuments, recreation areas and historic sites. That includes Florissant Fossil Beds, Colorado National Monument, Curecanti, Bent’s Old Fort, Dinosaur National Monument, Sand Creek Massacre Historic Site, Hovenweep and Yucca House. Plus: Rocky Mountain National Park, the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
