Colorado’s full Senate is expected to hear the controversial education-reform bill, Senate Bill 191, on Wednesday.
The Senate Appropriations Committee endorsed the bill 10-0 on Monday. The bill passed through the Senate Education Committee 7-1 on Friday. The bill seeks to tie teacher evaluations to student academic growth and reworks the way teachers obtain and keep nonprobationary status.
