A man who died after being hit by an SUV early Sunday was identified Monday as James Gallion, 28.
He died of blunt-force injuries to his head and chest after being struck about 2 a.m. as he walked down Interstate 25 near West Eighth Avenue, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
The driver of the SUV has not been identified, and the accident remains under investigation.
