Five homes and the Chamberlin Observatory will be open for viewing during the University Park Home Tour today.

Proceeds from the tour of the Denver neighborhood, which will held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., benefit University Park Elementary School. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the school, 2300 S. St. Paul St.

Homes on the tour include an updated Denver Square, a 100-year-old Craftsman bungalow and what many neighbors refer to as the Neusteter house, once owned by the family that operated the former Neusteters department store on the 16th Street Mall. Homes on the tour are not for sale, but many neighborhood homes that are for sale will host open houses to coincide with the event.
