GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Authorities have called off the search for a body reportedly seen floating in a western Colorado River after looking for two days.

The Garfield County Sheriff’s Department and Glenwood Springs Fire Department began looking Wednesday after a 911 caller said she saw what appeared to be a body in the Colorado River.

The sheriff’s department said Thursday that searchers found no sign of a body and no unattended vehicles, and that no one had filed a missing person report.
