PUEBLO, Colo.—Sen. Michael Bennet is talking with veterans about health care services they receive from the government.
The Democratic freshman starts a statewide listening tour in Pueblo Saturday. Bennet says he wants to ask veterans about services from the Veteran Administration, especially health care.
Bennet has pushed for more federal money for a veterans’ hospital in Aurora. Aides say Bennet has invited all veterans in the Pueblo area to a round-table and will hold more meetings in other Colorado towns in coming weeks.
