This is a picture of my daughter, Lauren, when she was 3, snuggling with the big bear at Honeyville, right outside Durango. It’s the best place to buy the delicious Colorado honey that founder Vernon Culhane once sold right off his flatbed truck. You can sample different kinds and hunt for the queen bee in the large glass beehive. I visited Honeyville in 2006 and had a great time.
