Denver police will not ticket the driver of a truck that struck and killed 2-year-old Edgar Edward Bernal on Sunday.
“There was no evidence to support carelessness, no evidence of drugs or alcohol, no evidence of speeding,” said district attorney spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough. The child wandered away from a Mother’s Day gathering in a front yard and was struck by a Ford F350 truck, police said.
