Adventure journaling
Today. Boulder REI will host a free “Family Adventure Journal Kick-off” featuring interactive clinics and activities. Meet with community groups, nonprofits and public land stewards for ways to hike, bike, volunteer and recreate as a family. Bait and Switch
Today-Sunday. Swap tales about the “one that got away” during this year’s “Catch-and-Release” fishing program season at Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. Fish for $3 every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 16 at Lake Mary and Lake Ladora. Anglers ages 16 and older must have a signed permit and Colorado fishing license on them.
