GOLDEN, Colo.—A woman accused of offering an undercover officer $2,000 to kill her ex-husband in Pitkin County has been acquitted.
Jefferson County jurors acquitted Elinor Dvir on Thursday of solicitation of first-degree murder and solicitation of first-degree assault of her former husband, Pitkin County Deputy District Attorney Richard Nedlin. The two had been involved in a custody dispute over their daughter.
Dvir’s attorneys had argued entrapment.
It was Dvir’s second trial on the charges. A trial in March ended in a hung jury.
