A 13-year-old girl was critically injured Thursday when she turned her bicycle into the path of a van in Longmont, police said,
Her name was not released. Police said that just before 1 p.m., she was pedaling near Mountain View Avenue and Fordham Street when she turned into the path of Chrysler Town & Country driven by a 70-year-old Longmont man. She was rushed to Longmont United Hospital and later transferred to a Den ver- area hospital in critical condition.
