AURORA, Colo.—Colorado authorities say a man arrested near Salt Lake City is suspected of killing an Aurora resident in 2007.

Authorities say 42-year-old Jeffrey J. Jones is accused of killing 25-year-old Tyrone Williams at Williams’ home. Police say one of Williams’ co-workers found his body nine days after his death.

Aurora police spokeswoman Detective Shannon Lucy said Thursday Jones faces charges of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. He is being held in Utah pending extradition to Colorado.
