Two Centennial men face hate-crime charges on accusations they assaulted a hookah-bar employee early Monday because he is from Iraq, according to the Denver district attorney’s office.
Fahad Alqusumi, 21, and Majed Alnufaie, 29, are each charged with bias- motivated crime after the assault on the 20-year-old man at the Baghdad Cafe at 2655 S. Broadway about 12:30 a.m. The victim told police the men said they were from Saudi Arabia.
