A lightning strike started a small fire and left a hole in the roof of a home in the 1800 block of West Dry Creek Road tonight, said Littleton Fire Rescue operations chief Roland Seno.
Residents were home when the bolt struck the two-story home just before 7:30 p.m., he said.
No one was injured and firefighters were able to quickly douse the flame, Seno said.
