Funeral services for Opalanga Pugh, the beloved Denver storyteller who died this week at age 57, have been set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Baptist Church, 933 E. 24th Ave. in Denver.
A viewing will be held 4-9 p.m. Friday at Pipkin Mortuary, 2531 Ogden St. in Denver.
Pugh’s niece Keisha Washington said the family will hold a memorial celebrating her aunt’s cultural contributions June 26 at 4 p.m. at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, 119 Park Avenue West in Denver.
