A portion of Peña Boulevard that leads to Denver International Airport’s west terminal passenger pick-up and drop-off locations will be closed four nights next week to allow for bridge construction.

During the following road closures, passengers should be picked up and dropped off on level 4 or 6 on the east terminal: 9 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday, and midnight to 4 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Arriving passengers not being picked up will have access to commercial ground transportation, rental car shuttles and hotel shuttles on level 5 of the west terminal.

Inbound parking during closure times will be directed to the east terminal garage, Pike’s Peak, Mount Elbert or other offsite parking locations. Arriving customers who have vehicles parked in the west terminal garage or economy lot will have access to their vehicles.

The new bridge is being installed as part of a “haul route” that will allow construction vehicles to access the airport’s south terminal area without affecting traffic.
