COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Searchers have recovered the body of a girl on national forest land in El Paso County.
The workers discovered the body Sunday in Queens Canyon near a rock formation called Punch Bowls. It took seven hours to bring the body out of the canyon.
On Monday the sheriff’s office announced the body had been identified as Sydney Causey, who was reported missing Saturday out of Manitou Springs.
