CHAMBERS USA 2010 EDITION: Recognized Lee Reichert, a partner at Kamlet Reichert, in its list of individual attorneys in the category of corporate/merger-and-acquisition attorneys. COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY: Announced that professor W.S. Sampath, co-founder of Abound Solar, will lead a new $2.5 million solar research-and-development center in partnership with industry to explore next-generation solar technology.

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: Appointed Cathey McClain Finlon as chair of the hospital’s board of directors. Finlon has served on the hospital’s board for nine years, including two years as vice chairwoman.

AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK: Appointed Jay Wilson as vice president of the bank’s mortgage group.

URBAN PEAK: Recently added Mary Jane Rogers, JPMorgan Chase & Co.; Dr. Ann Van Horne, Children’s Hospital; and Brad Weydert of Statera to the board of directors.

KEY EQUIPMENT FINANCE: Appointed Kathy Havlik as a regional sales associate.

AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION: Re-elected Rehan K. Hasan, head of Hasan LLC, to a second term as the chairman of the board.
