ST. LOUIS—The St. Louis Blues have acquired forward T.J. Hensick from the Avalanche, sending forward Julian Talbot to Colorado.
The 24-year-old Hensick had a goal and two assists in seven games for Colorado last season and played 58 games for Lake Erie of the AHL with 20 goals and 50 assists. In 2008-09 he had four goals and 17 assists in 61 games for Colorado.
The 25-year-old Talbot had 17 goals and 15 assists in 76 games for Peoria (AHL). He has played the last three seasons in Peoria.
