Police say a drive-by shooting that left six men injured Wednesday night does not appear to be random.

Denver Police say it happened around 9 p.m. at 25th Avenue and Ogden Street.

Police say the victims were hanging out in front of an apartment building when a large truck or SUV drove by. Someone inside the SUV opened fire.

One person with potentially life-threatening injuries was taken to Denver Health Medical Center. The other five victims, who had non life-threatening injuries, were taken to Presbyterian/St. Luke’s and St. Joseph Hospitals.

Police say all six people are expected to be OK.

The Denver Police gang unit is investigating and looking for witnesses.

Initially, police said seven people were injured in the shooting.
