CASPER, Wyo.—Central Wyoming College’s Ty Breuer moved into the lead in bareback riding at the College National Finals Rodeo on Friday night.

Breuer has a total of 236.5 points on three rides—eight points ahead of Missouri Valley College’s Kyle Brennecke in second. Winn Ratliff from McNeese State won the third round of bareback riding with an 82-point ride. That moves him into the top 12 and qualifies him to compete in the national championship.

Panhandle State’s Jordan Muncy-Taton holds the lead in breakaway roping with a total of 7.7 seconds on three runs. student also leads barrel racing after a 14.36-second run Friday night. She has a total time of 43.64 seconds and is followed by last year’s national champion, South Dakota State’s Rachel Tiedeman with 43.66 seconds.

The CNFR’s final round will begin Saturday night.
