Snowboarders Kevin Pearce, right, and Shaun White are among the nominees for Fox Television’s Teen Choice Awards in the Action Sports Male division.
Pearce, 22, suffered a severe traumatic brain injury that left him in critical condition last winter. After completing therapy at Craig Hospital in Denver, his condition continues to improve while recovering at home in Vermont.
In addition to Olympic gold medalist White, other nominees include motocross star Travis Pastrana, skateboarder Ryan Sheckler and surfing champ Kelly Slater.
