ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo.—A judge has ordered a Rock Springs man accused of murdering a Colorado hitchhiker in 2006 to face charges in district court.

Circuit Judge Daniel Forgey of Rock Springs on Tuesday ordered 41-year-old Eric John Conn bound over on charges of first-degree murder and other crimes in the death of 29-year-old Ben Bradley of Tabernash, Colo.

John Prokos is chief deputy county and prosecuting attorney for Sweetwater County. He says no date has been set for Conn’s arraignment in district court.

Bradley’s disappearance and the eventual discovery of his body north of Rock Springs drew national attention. Bradley was a devoted snowboarder and last contacted friends in June 2006 as he was traveling north to Jackson.
