Aurora Police are asking for help in locating two men in connection to a shooting Tuesday night that left a man in critical condition.
The shooting happened Tuesday just after 9 p.m. in the 10900 block of E. Exposition Avenue near Expo Park.
The victim, who has not been identified, was driving westbound on Exposition Avenue between Havana Street and Moline Street when a shot was fired from another vehicle in an adjacent lane also heading westbound.
When police arrived they found the victim with a “life-threatening gunshot wound.”
Police believe the shot was fired from either a “white 2000 Chevrolet Impala or a Malibu four-door sedan” with temporary license tags.
The two men in the vehicle are described as black males. The driver has a heavy build with shoulder-length corn rows and a scruffy beard. The passenger in the vehicle had a ponytail.
It is unclear which of the two men may have fired the shot.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Craig Appel at (303) 739-6207. A $5,000 reward may be available.
