“Colorful” — the first word of opening song “Wondering,” could not have described what was to come any better. The Southern California alt-rock outfit played across the spectrum of their catalog for attendees Wednesday night.
While it was only the second show of their tour, Colin Baylen, Shaun Profeta, Mark Borst-Smith and Dillan Wheeler showed their chops like they have been touring for years. With new songs like “Summer Soul” and “Ciao Bella,” it became obvious that the quartet had bottled up a little sunshine for their trip to Denver before heading on east.
