COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The murder charges against a reputed neo-Nazi recruit accused of killing a Colorado Springs woman is in the hands of the jury.
The jury was to resume deliberations Tuesday after the hearing closing arguments Friday in the first-degree murder trial of Kandin Eric Wilson.
The 29-year-old is accused of killing Susana Pelayo-Perez, a 35-year-old restaurant manager, in a bungled robbery last year.
Wilson argues he was not there when the restaurant manager was shot. Wilson says he has been wrongly accused by Kyle Grey, an admitted member of the American Nazi Party who testified that he was driving the car while Wilson shot the woman.
Gray took a plea deal and agreed to testify against Wilson.
