Longmont- based Abound Solar won’t hire for a central Indiana factory until it has ramped up production at its Longmont plant.
Abound Solar president Tom Tiller said the company doesn’t have a timeline yet for the factory near Tipton, Ind.
The company plans to move into an 800,000-square-foot plant where a Chrysler supplier stopped construction last year. It is receiving $400 million in federal loan guarantees toward the factories in Indiana and Longmont.
