AURORA, Colo.—Aurora voters will decide this fall if the town’s medical marijuana ban should be made permanent, while Pueblo officials rejected a similar ballot proposal.
City officials in Aurora and Pueblo made different decisions Monday night on medical marijuana dispensaries. Aurora’s city council voted 9-1 to ask voters about banning pot shops, while Pueblo’s council voted 4-3 against a similar question.
A new Colorado law allows cities to prohibit dispensaries, and many towns are mulling whether to make moratoriums permanent.
