In what seems to be the summer of the American Belgian ale, Great Divide has just released a mighty take on a kicked-up witbier. A gorgeous pour of hazy gold with a bright, fluffy head, Double Wit releases aromas of fruit esters, coriander and curaçao. Sweetness at the tip of the tongue and apricot and citrus on the sides give a mouthwatering flavor. It’s a great pairing for lighter fish dishes or a citrus dessert. Smooth and drinkable, an easy summer beer and one that hides well its fairly substantial alcohol (8.1 percent by volume). Great Divide Brewing Co., 2201 Arapahoe St.;
