Denver’s TV stations shared the honors at the Heartland Emmy Awards ceremony Sunday, with KUSA once again winning the Station Excellence and News Excellence awards.

Deborah Sherman of KUSA won the prestigious journalistic enterprise honor.

The CBS4 Morning News took the morning news contest; “7News Now” won for daytime newscast, KUSA’s 10 p.m. news won among the late newscasts.

Jace Larson of KUSA won for his investigative series, “Foreclosure Woes.” Tony Kovaleski of KMGH won (yet another award) for his report on the delayed emergency response time at DIA. John Ferrugia of KMGH won the specialty reporting category for his report on the preventable death of an infant, Destiny Lewis.

Fox Sports Network-Rocky Mountain took the award for sports special for its report, “We Are Columbine.”

The Denver Post won an Emmy for its online photo essay on childhood poverty in Colorado.
