COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—The Colorado Rapids will be represented on Major League Soccer’s All-Star team.

The league announced Monday that Rapids midfielder Jeff Larentowicz (lah-REN-tow-witz) has been added to the team for the July 28 game against Manchester United in Houston. It’s the first time he’s been picked to join the All-Star team in his six years in the league.

He was one of 11 players picked by Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena to round out the MLS roster. League commissioner Don Garber picked two others—Houston forward Brian Ching, who was cut from the U.S. World Cup team, and D.C. United forward Jaime Moreno.
