A man suspected of stuffing his wife into a car trunk, leaving her for dead, has been arrested at the U.S.-Mexican border in El Paso.
Arturo Talamantes was arrested Wednesday after an extensive search by Denver police and Texas and federal authorities, according to Denver police.
Investigators went to 810 S. Tejon St. on Oct. 31, 2009, on a report that Talamantes attacked his wife. The woman told investigators that her husband had beaten her, put her in the car trunk and left her for dead near West First Avenue and Clay Street.
