CAÑON CITY — Fremont County authorities say they arrested a 58-year-old man suspected of killing and dismembering a woman last year.
John Paul Williams is being held without bail and faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Rebecca Magallanes. She went missing in November. Authorities later identified her after matching her DNA to a torso discovered by a motorist near Wetmore.
Authorities say Williams and Magallanes had been living together in Florence when she disappeared.
