AIR FORCE ACADEMY — The Air Force honored former military personnel Saturday with a Retiree Appreciation Day at the Air Force Academy.
The event included medical checks for blood pressure and cholesterol, information booths and help with understanding Tricare, a military health-care program.
Lt. Gen. Michael Gould, superintendent of the academy, was scheduled to speak along with representatives of Peterson Air Force Base and Schriever Air Force Base.
