The Indy Racing League on Monday fined Castroneves $60,000 and put the “Dancing with the Stars” winner on probation for the rest of the season. He got off lucky. Castro- neves was fortunate he didn’t get the best of Charles Burns, the IRL’s chief of security, after the July 25 race in Edmonton, Alberta. After being black-flagged for blocking, failing to follow orders and storming out of his car and arguing at the foot of the flag stand after the race, Castroneves approached the much-bigger Burns and grabbed the former Indiana state trooper by collar. Burns, showing remarkable restraint, just smiled.
