Third baseman Ian Stewart is providing another option to the one-two punch of Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez. With two hits Sunday, including a home run, Stewart extended his hitting streak to eight games. In those games, he has two homers and two doubles. For the season, Stewart has 17 home runs and 57 RBIs.

Tulowitzki extended his hitting streak to five games and has had hits in 10 of the last 11 games. He had three hits Sunday, including a home run, and two RBIs, capped by the game-winner in the ninth inning. Gonzalez had a double and an RBI, and he has hit safely in seven of the last nine games, including four multiple-hit games. Gonzalez is hitting .405 (32-for-79) in his last 19 games.
