Boedecker Theater at The Dairy Center for the Arts construction began with a groundbreaking Aug. 19. Crocs founder George B. Boedecker Jr., U.S. Rep. Vista Gold Corp. announced an estimated proven and probable mineral reserve of 2 million ounces and the positive results of a Preliminary Feasibility Study for the Batman deposit at the company’s wholly owned Mount Todd gold project in Northern Territory, Australia. The PFS was managed by TetraTech MM Inc. of Golden, which also undertook the resource modeling and estimation, geotechnical, environmental and site reclamation engineering and design.

UnitedHealthcare announced it is making available HEROES grants of up to $1,000 to help schools and youth-focused community organizations in Colorado develop programs to fight childhood obesity in their neighborhoods. The HEROES grants, a national program developed by UnitedHealth Group and Youth Service America, can be used to create hands-on, interactive service-learning programs that reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity.
