Burglary victims in the metro area can check a website to identify, and ultimately claim, hundreds of stolen items, police said.
Boulder Police Department detectives have posted photographs on the Internet of items believed to be stolen during home burglaries throughout the Denver area, the department said in a media release.
Boulder police recovered most of the items in March during an investigation into multiple burglaries that occurred within Boulder during the past three years.
“Detectives have been working with investigators in other jurisdictions while also logging each item as evidence,” police said. “The items include jewelry, electronics, tools and firearms.”
Victims of residential burglaries, especially those who have filed burglary reports, are encouraged to view the images, which are catalogued and numbered.
People who recognize an item should contact the local police agency that took the original theft or burglary report.
If the burglary took place within Boulder city limits, victims can call 303 441-3330.
