Team Garmin-Transitions announced today that it will switch working agreements from Felt Bicycles to Cervelo bikes and will change its name to Team Garmin-Cervelo for the 2011 season.

Felt chose not to exercise its option with the Boulder-based cycling team after a four-year working agreement.

Garmin-Cervelo director Jonathan Vaughters said in a statement, “Slipstream Sports and Cervelo share the key philosophies of developing the next generation of cycling champions and an unwavering commitment to ethical sport. We are happy to work with another company that, like Garmin, so closely shares our goals.”

Vaughters also announced the beginning of new pro women’s cycling team.

The new name marks the seventh name change since 2003.
