Sprint will hold an on-site hiring event today to fill 80 to 100 jobs at its call center in Englewood.
The nation’s No. 3 wireless carrier said it is hiring to prepare for the launch of faster, fourth-generation cellular service in the metro area. Sprint 4G service “will be available in Denver soon,” the company said Monday.
Sprint has open positions in management, business wireless customer care and technical support at its Englewood call center, which employs more than 1,000. Company representatives will interview job seekers from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 333 Inverness Drive South.
For more information or to apply online, visit Sprint’s career center at and click on “Call Centers.”
Sprint 4G is currently launched in 48 markets with speeds that are up to 10 times faster than 3G.
The Samsung Epic, Sprint’s second 4G handset, hits stores today. The HTC Evo launched earlier this summer.
