Level 3 Communications chief executive Jim Crowe has sold 2 million shares of the company to seven members of the Broomfield-based firm’s board of directors, according to a regulatory filing.
The shares were sold Aug. 25 for $1.05 each. Level 3 chairman Walter Scott Jr. purchased the largest block, 1.575 million shares. Crowe still owns about 6.3 million shares of the company’s common stock and was previously awarded 2.9 million restricted shares.
