GREELEY — Greeley police have arrested more teenagers in the assault of a jogger in a city park.
Police Sgt. Joe Tymkowych said Friday that seven teens have been arrested in an Aug. 24 assault on a 47-year-old Greeley woman. A 17-year-old girl turned herself in to police Thursday.
Tymkowych said six more suspects were identified, and more arrests are expected. They could face charges of disorderly conduct and engaging in a riot. Tymkowych said the woman was attacked when she tried to stop a fight between two girls. He said other teens were encouraging the fight and one of the girls hit the woman in the face several times.
