DENVER—The Colorado State Patrol says a woman is dead after her car went off a road and crashed down a mountainside.
The patrol says the accident occurred late Friday afternoon near Georgetown Lake.
The Denver Post reports that the woman was ejected from the Jeep as it rolled numerous times down the mountainside, coming to a rest after about 1,200 feet.
A man was sustained undisclosed injuries when he tried to climb down the mountain to assist her.
