Scott Radcliffe of Rolling Hills Country Club shot a 2-under-par 70, worth a one-stroke lead after the first round of the Colorado Golf Association Senior Stroke Play Championship at Cherry Creek Country Club.
Radcliffe, who won the 2004 CGA Senior Match Play, had four birdies and two bogeys Tuesday.
John Olive of The Broadmoor Golf Club and Bruce Hogg of Colorado Springs Country Club each shot a 71.
Mammoth hires assistant coaches.
The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League named Ed Comeau and Sean Ferris as the team’s assistant coaches, replacing Bob McMahon, Dan Pratt and Dan Perreault in a staff shakeup.
Comeau has won the NLL Champion’s Cup five times, four as an assistant coach with the Toronto Rock and one when he served as the head coach of the Rochester Knighthawks in 2007. Ferris was an assistant coach with the 2007 Knighthawks.
The Mammoth’s 2011 season opener is Jan. 8.
